The New Generation Philippine Banknotes

20-peso bill

The 20 peso bill features the Banaue Rice Terraces and the Asian Palm Civet. If you look on the lower left, you’ll see the word Pilipino inscribed in Baybayin, a pre-Spanish Philippine writing system. I also love the other fonts used in the bill, especially the script used in for the landmark title.

50-peso bill

The 50 peso bill has the Giant Trevally (Maliputo) in front of Taal Lake.

1oo-peso bill

The 100 peso bill shows a Butanding, commonly known as whale shark, along with Mayon Volcano behind it.

200-peso bill

Meanwhile, the Tarsier sits comfortably in front of the Chocolate Hills on the reverse side of the 200 peso bill.

500-peso bill

For the 500 peso bill, they chose the Blue-naped parrot and the Underground Riverfound in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

1000-peso bill

In 1000-peso bill, they chose the South Sea Pearl for this one knowing we are the Pearl of the Orient Seas. It also shows corals from theTubbataha Reef in Sulu Sea and an adorable pawikan in the background.

These changes will surely mark the Philippine History.

true artists create work with their eyes not hands, which make their work more expressive than just mechanical. Essence than just presence.

I work as a creative director for an advertising agency and i can ‘see’ the makings of a good artist when they reveal themselves. We can maybe collaborate on some of my projects if you want to put your work into a real world test. We mainly do concepts and AVPs for select pharmaceutical companies. Let me know. Keep it up.
